Christmas Golfing Events at Penina

Get in a round on one of the greatest courses in Europe, the Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course. Renowned as the first ever 18-hole Championship course in the Algarve, our ten time host of the Portugal Open will leave you astounded. Designed by golfing legend Sir Henry Cotton, the Par 73 course surrenders to the natural beauty of the Algarve, as the main holes challenge your game with a litany of bunkers, water hazards and precarious ditches.

Christmas & Boxing Day Dining at Penina

Begin the merry-making with a Christmas Eve culinary fiesta at Le Grill where you will be welcomed with festive décor, twinkling candlelight and signature drinks, including Algarve wines produced in the Algarve just fifteen minutes from Penina. A bespoke set menu will stir the soul with the appearance of many of the festive favourites as well as serving up a scrumptious Christmas lunch, while those who want to continue celebrating come evening time can head over to Sagres Restaurant for a Portuguese-inspired buffet dinner.

New Year’s Fine-Dining and Parties

Step into a world of Portuguese flavours with an exciting evening of mesmerising delights. Indulge in delicious cocktails at the Blue Lounge, followed by sumptuous buffets at Sagres or set menus at the Sir Henry Cotton Club and Le Grill. After dinner, mix and mingle at the Blue Lounge and dance the night away to live music. Brunch on the 1st January will start the year with a hearty selection of meats, fresh seafood, beverages and desserts.
